Give peace a chance.

During the war (or extermination) towards the Humans and any other species that resides on the planet like the Equestrians, There have been many offers and talk of peace between the Meti and Humanity.
Though curious about the Human species, The Tyrobine do wish for the wars to end one day. The other factions of the Meti have argued about this delicate subject amongst the Meti political parties.
And the same result happens over and over again.

The Tyrobine, which are the bulk & founders of the Meti empire tend to only see the bad side of any species they see fit to hate and annihilate.
which is why the war will not see a peaceful resolve. War is all the Tyrobine know.
But there have been cases of the curiosity of Humans getting the better of some Tyrobine troopers.

A well known case is of a Tyrobine squad captain ordering his unit to escort Human civilians out of a bombing zone and protect them until their military can evacuate them from the war torn planet.
This action should've lead the captain to a early forced retirement from the Meti military and stripped of any honorable certifications he may have earned in his career.
But the Meti council in all their knowledge accepted that it was the right thing to do. They rewarded the captain greatly and used his actions as an example that the Meti are not the monsters of this war.

Though the Human governments and leaders do not see them as anymore than monsters that cannot be reasoned with. But only those who've seen the Meti's true hearts will try to convince them otherwise.
